i've never done a product review, but i have to share this amazing new program i have for my business! it's called square. the website is
https://squareup.com/. this amazing little device allows me to accept credit cards for photo transactions through my iPhone. unlike some competitors, square's card reader is free (and was shipped to me very quickly). there are also no monthly contract or setup fees! i can track cash and check payments and send electronic receipts to customers when i receive payments. if i do accept a credit card, square charges a fee of 2.75 percent +.15 if the card is present and if i manually enter a card number the fee is 3.5 percent +.15. the purchaser signs electronically on the phone and i send them an email receipt showing the details of the purchase.
for a photographer who could not previously accept credit cards this is so easy!
if you have a small business and need to occasionally accept credit cards i would highly recommend using
square!
